Day 49: TGIF Guide May 14-16

Friday 14th: 

The new Lele Lounge is now open: piano jazz w/ al gord from 6pm-9pm. For those of you who love Thai food (I know I do!) or just like jazz, check out the new lounge in the same location(just expanded)

Saturday 15th:

  • Grand Opening Sehmel Homestead Park

 The Sehmel Homestead Park gates will open at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at 10123 78th Ave. NW and Sehmel Drive NW in Gig Harbor. The dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony… the public will be invited to join in cutting the “world’s longest ribbon”  taking place from noon to 1 p.m. (see Thursday’s post 5/13).

Saturday, May 15
9- 2:30p at Point Defiance Park, Tacoma, WA

Team up with family and friends to participate in the Outdoor Challenge, a fun fitness adventure that is part scavenger hunt, part adventure race in Tacoma’s Point Defiance Park, Saturday, May 15.

Two-person adult teams and four-person family teams will compete in outdoor activities to gain points.The challenges are of varying levels of difficulty and silliness–teams will encounter everything from rock climbing to rock skipping. read more
