Day 61: Music for the Myrons w/ Perry Acker

Local band does good. Up and coming Perry Acker will perform at Gig Harbor High School this Friday, May 28th from 6-9pm at Gig Harbor High School Gym.

Its our time to help a family in our community! They are holding a benefit concert for the Myrons. Perry Acker, Island Blvd, and Ellie Donavan will be playing!
For those of you who don’t know or remember, the Myron family suffered tragic losses when the father Allen Myron, Pierce County deputy, took the life of his in-laws before taking his own.  For the family and us outsiders, the grief is incomprehensible. In times like these, people genuinely want to help, but often times don’t know how.
Here is a fun, positive way to get involved and give back to your community and the  family left behind. See you there.
From the event author, “We would LOVE to see the gym packed! You guys can pack it out for a basketball game so let’s do the same for a family in our community! The cost is 5$! All proceeds will be going to the family! This is an all ages event!”

Become on fan of Perry Acker on Facebook … Become a Fan . You can pick up a cd from Cutters Point Coffee before the show. If not, I’m sure they’ll have cd’s at the event.
