Day 65: Welcome Morso … Water to Wine

Okay, I’m a little late getting to this, but just haven’t had the time. Just prior to the opening of Morso, I visited Water to Wine (next door … same owners) after a Harborview walk (a rare somewhat-sunny day :). Shortly thereafter, Morso opened it’s doors! Their location is prime. Morso is situated at the end of the commercial strip on Harbor View Drive with spectacular views of Gig Harbor and Mt. Rainier. Their timing is impeccable. Sip Wine Bar in Uptown closed it’s doors at about the same time Morso opened theirs.  The decor is sophisticated but relaxed.

They started with Water to Wine , selling wine and offering tastings, advice and education.  Morso came along and created a perfect pairing … offering a unique menu of foods that complement the various wines they sell. Their staff is knowledgable and experienced.  The intention is clear: They’re NOT just selling wine; rather, the ‘wine experience’ with food pairings, education and ambience.
