Days 69-70 TGIF Gig Harbor Weekend Guide: Maritime Gig Festival

The Maritime Gig Festival 2010

A little something different. I am posting the schedule of events coupled with pictures taken by a local Gig Harbor photographer and friend, Chris Yetter. His pictures of past Festivals and others events can be viewed at or Chris J. Yetter Photography

Don’t miss this event; the best Gig Harbor event all year! The Maritime Gig Festival activities will take place downtown along Harborview Drive, between Pioneer and Rosedale, and along the waterfront near Jerisich Dock and Skansie Brother’s Park. Parking is difficult, so park where you can and prepare to walk! For the parade, come early and bring your own lawn chairs…perhaps a few umbrellas, but with so many people, a parka makes more sense. We’ll see you there!
