Looking for something different? Try picking up a hockey stick at the Puget Sound Hockey Center.(Remember “Around” Gig Harbor) … Every once in a while there will come a time to cross that bridge. Tonight, Monday June 7 is “Pond Hockey night”! Open to kids age 11-14. Full hockey gear is required. This is an unstructured drop-in time for the kids to play hockey.
All participants must be registered with USA Hockey.
PSAHA offers a “Rink Rat Card” for $50 which is good for 10 sessions of Pond Hockey or Skills&Drills.
Not between the ages of 11-14? Can’t make it tonight? Can’t skate? Fear NOT! The Puget Sound Hockey Center offers classes for all levels of skate instruction, Summer Programs and league play opportunities. See their website for full details.
The PSHC is home of the Puget Sound Tomahawks(youth hockey), Rainier Hockey League (adult hockey), Ice Angels (figure skating), and the Tacoma Speed Skating Club. Tacoma Hockey Club aka Puget Sound Hockey Center is a privately owned ice rink located in the Tacoma city limits.
