A warm welcome to Mizu Japanese Steakhouse. No more blindfolded visits to Sakuras stomaching the food with a loss of appetite brought on by the dated decor and carpet (what’s left of it). No more 50 minute trips to the Roy Y … the Samurai restaurant which is nicely appointed with delicious food, but lacks location. Good luck getting a seat, this place is a hit! I suggest calling for reservations on their website. The decor is very cool, and as always, it’s the ‘experience’ that people love.
At the heart of the Mizu experience is the teppanyaki table, around which guests gather and enjoy a meal expertly prepared and cooked to perfection on an iron grill, right before your very eyes by a chef who is as much entertainer as a culinary master.
The meal begins with a delicate Japanese onion soup, followed by a salad with ginger dressing. Next is the appetizer which consists of shrimp, asparagus, garlic butter and sake/soy sauce for flavoring. The chef will prepare your chicken, beef or seafood, along with vegetables, hibachi-style on the sizzling grill surface. Be sure to enjoy the show, because our chefs literally play with your food as they cook it.
Your entrée will be served with homemade dipping sauces and steamed rice, or if you prefer *fried rice. You may also order tempura, sushi, specialty rolls and a variety of cocktails, wines and sakes’.
Mizu can accommodate groups of all sizes, and the more the merrier at the teppanyaki tables. Even if you come on your own, you can join others at the table for a fresh cooked meal and a show.
