Gig Harbor TGIF Weekend Guide (Days 129-131)

Friday August 6th:  The Pink Panther …  David Depattie ( a Gig Harbor area resident) will be on hand at CinemaGig Outdoor Movie Night to open the 1963 Peter Sellers “Pink Panther” film, which includes the opening credit sequence that introduced the loveable, pink, tall, and ingenious pink panther character to the world. I recall watching all of the cartoons and movies with my Father … as a child. He absolutely loved the Pink Panther and felt it was nothing short of genius. Henry Mancini’s intro was also one of his favorite music producers. A real treat for our community…this should be fun!

It promises to be a remarkable wine and food experience. A celebration of “the good life.”

Later that evening,  bring the kids to Skansie Park for the family animated movie: “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” @ 8:30pm.

Sunday August 8th: For playgoers … (also Friday & Sat) The Music Man … opening weekend at Paradise Theatre in Gig Harbor.
